On September 14th, 2024, S. S. Pawar College, Ambegaon (Bk.), Pune, organized a Tree Plantation Drive at Punyadham Ashram, Kondhwa Kurd. A group of 15 students participated in this initiative, planting a total of 50 trees, including Neem, Lemon, Kury leaves, and other varieties.
The drive aimed to contribute to environmental conservation and raise awareness about the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance. By planting these trees, the students not only beautified the Ashram’s surroundings but also took a step towards promoting a greener and healthier environment.
This initiative was part of the college’s ongoing efforts to encourage students to be actively involved in environmental protection and to contribute to the well-being of the community and planet.
